"The University of Bern is what is known as an "entire“ Swiss university. It was founded in 1834 in the city of Bern and unites eight faculties and approximately 160 institutes. It is a mid-sized university in Switzerland and is divided into three organization levels: Comprehensive University, Faculties, and Institutes, one of which is the Institute of Psychology. The University of Bern offers approximately 40 Bachelor and 70 Master programs. Currently, there are 2300 Doctoral candidates registered for their Doctorate Thesis.
